Saying Hell Yeah to Positive Affirmations

Inspired by a recent collaboration with Wanderella, I want to rant a bit more about positive affirmations here because you can never have too much positivity.

We live in a world that bombards us with literal and metaphorical reasons to feel swamped in negativity. It feels like, as a global community, we’re stuck in the best of times and the worst of times.

It all starts with you.

Positive affirmations bring it all back to you. What happens is, when the individual has no voice or has a negative voice ringing in her ear, it becomes much more difficult to hear the good and be motivated to do the good.

With Positive Affirmations You Can Have The Upper Hand

An inner positive voice, with practice, will speak louder than the negative, violent, unjust, discriminatory, prejudiced, and fearful voices around you. Share on X

It’s so easy to get caught up and drift away in their negativity. The longer you are there, the stronger you feel that negativity is yours.

Positive affirmations and positivity doesn’t mean you have to put blinders on. Affirmations will be the gummy vitamins you take each day to make you more resilient, more open, more grateful and able to look at things from another more useful, healthy and positive perspective.

  • Self-affirmations offer a path to practice and embrace a positive way to nurture our creative potential. It peppers our days with opportunities to refocus our mind’s attention toward what is possible and what we are capable of.
  • Self-affirmations are a way to ease ourselves out of the negative habit of indulging in self-pity, self-defeat, and self-sabotage.
  • Self-affirmations are daily spoonful’s of self-empowerment.
